Really good advice.  I found many of the things you talked about to be "right on" with my own experiences so far.  I haven't approached the market you are talking about, but so much of the information is wisdom even for selling in other markets.

Thanks Dick - your reply is very helpful in the specifics of how to come away from a cold call with a sucessful outcome, whether it's an appointment or permission to contact designer by email.
I wanted to let you know the results of my husband meeting with a local design company.
Today was that appointment.  They will be taking several of his originals and prints to hang in their showroom.  With your podcasts, we had the right information to go into the meeting.
